MANILA, Philippines — Six years. Countless challenges. One shared belief in what we could build together. What started as a vision for Virtue Maritime has grown into a community of people, partnerships, and shared purpose. This year, Virtue Maritime Services Corp. marked its sixth anniversary, alongside the third anniversary of Virtue Maritime Shipmanagement Corp, a milestone made meaningful not by the numbers, but by the people who made it possible.
Looking back, the years have been anything but easy. There were challenges that tested our resolve, moments that made us pause, and opportunities that reminded us why we started in the first place. Every experience, whether difficult or rewarding, became part of our story, and every milestone was made possible by the people who stood with us.
More than anything, the celebration was about people. It was about our seafarers and employees who continue to give their time, skills, and dedication; our principals and partners who have placed their trust in us; and our friends and families who have supported us along the way. Their confidence is something we deeply value, and they remain an important part of what Virtue Maritime stands for.
The occasion also gave us a moment to look ahead. There is still so much to learn, improve, build, and accomplish. As Virtue Maritime enters another chapter, we remain committed to strengthening our partnerships, developing our people, and creating meaningful opportunities for Filipino seafarers and maritime professionals. Our goal is not simply to grow bigger, but to grow better—with purpose, integrity, and a genuine commitment to the people we serve.
We ended the day simply—a small dinner with the Virtue family, sharing food, stories, laughter, and memories. There was no need for anything grand; being together was more than enough. It was a quiet and meaningful way to cap a day of celebration and gratitude, reminding us that behind every vessel, every contract, and every achievement are people who make it worthwhile. Six years on, we continue forward with One Team. One Virtue. One Mission.
