Businesses and exhibitors participating in events at SMX Convention Center will have a new centralized channel for managing permits, deliveries, and logistics requirements. 2GO has partnered with SMX Convention Center, Central Business Park (CBP), and SM Estates to establish the 2GO-SMX Events Logistics system. The initiative is designed to assist exhibitors, organizers, contractors, suppliers, and service providers with their event-related logistics needs at SMX and the Mall of Asia Complex.
Under the partnership, 2GO will help facilitate permit applications for contractors, coordinate endorsements with SM Estates, and process submissions with CBP. The company will also provide logistics support covering exhibit ingress, event operations, and pull-out activities. The service will handle the movement of exhibit materials, equipment, and other event-related deliveries required before, during, and after events.
2GO said the new system aims to simplify the coordination process by providing a single point of contact for permit and logistics assistance. CBP will remain the authorized body responsible for regulating permits, applications, vehicle access, and corresponding fees. SM Estates Senior Vice President Jessel Kabigting said the partnership seeks to improve coordination and provide a more efficient review and endorsement process for event requirements.
The agreement was formalized through a memorandum of understanding signed by representatives from 2GO, SM Hotels and Conventions Corp., SM Estates, and CBP. The partnership creates a coordinated approach for handling logistics concerns related to exhibitions and events held at the SMX Convention Center. Organizers and exhibitors will be able to access integrated support for their operational requirements through the new system.
